Details

Gavin, 2nd Lord Faringdon, the owner of Buscot Park, purchased the early nineteenth-century townhouse in Brompton Square in 1953. He transformed the interiors and filled them with paintings, sculpture and furniture reflecting his eclectic taste. Highlights include the witty trompe l’oeil murals in the dining room by Roy Hobdell, Biedermeier and Regency furniture, and paintings by contemporary artists.
